Silent Hill is a weird series of video games, and usually this is in the very best sense; it's got absolutely demented creature design, an engrossing, disturbing narrative, and some pretty damn weird endings too. Though even the more normal ones are undeniably bleak and steeped in a lot of supernatural weirdness, there's two that really stick out. The first is the famous "UFO ending", which usually sees the protagonist of the game be abducted by aliens under a variety of amusing, strange circumstances. The other, a lot more difficult to comprehend, is the infamous "dog ending" from Silent Hill 2, a joke ending which explains that the mastermind behind everything in the game was a dog called Mira.
