The F.E.A.R. games are great in how they integrate Ring-like supernatural horror elements into the FPS aesthetic, but the second game of the series really decided to go to an uncomfortably barmy place at its climax. We all know that the series antagonist is Alma Wade, a creepy young girl who has been clearly modelled on The Ring, and spends most of her time in this game killing soldiers and sneaking up on us at inopportune moments. At the end of the second game, she transforms herself into an older woman's body, and then proceeds to have sex with you, without your consent, essentially amounting to the first video game instance of female-to-male rape. What's worse, Alma gets pregnant, and even worse still, this is the good ending of the game.
