11 Improvements We Must See For Call Of Duty 2016

6. Multiplayer Maps With More Vertical Options

After Advanced Warfare made the most of its Exo suit by allowing players to fly around on various vertical planes, it was disappointing that BO3 mostly tried to keep things grounded, which seemed largely at odds with the entire premise of being able to boost around using jet thrusters. Now, the game does admittedly cater fairly well to the new wall-running mechanics, but it's enormously disappointing that it deliberately prevents you from reaching ledges, roofs and other structures which would have added another dimension to the fairly standard multiplayer offering. As the gauntlet falls to Infinity Ward, hopefully they'll realise how enormously lazy of Treyarch this was and make things feel more vertiginous than ever before...assuming the next CoD game even has this mechanic.
