Developers Arkane are fast-becoming one of the most exciting in the industry. Not only was 2012's Dishonored one of the finest and most inventive stealth games of all time, but they've been given 2006's cult classic Prey license to do with whatever they see fit.

As a result, so far it's mostly been kept under wraps (as is the Bethesda way), and aside from a cheeky glimpse at Gamescom 2016, all we know at time of writing is a vague '2017' date.

Gameplay looks to continue Dishonored's experimental nature - with a particular ability letting you morph into any object, seen above, and a climbable freeze ray - allowing for all sorts of gameplay possibilities.
