10. Disc Jam
Though this sci-fi sports title may have scored only broadly positive reviews from most of the press, there's a lot to be said for Disc Jam's fiendishly addictive appeal.
Smartly following the Rocket League formula, Disc Jam is a deceptively simple and deliriously entertaining space frisbee game. It's extremely easy to pick up and play, either against the CPU or online opponents in singles or tag action, but mastering the more complex spinning throws requires plenty of time investment.
While it hasn't repeated the same meteoric success as the aforementioned car football title, it's still an excellent game to pick up and play when you want to dive into some fast action for 15 minutes, but at the same time, it's easy to lose an entire afternoon to its "just one more" quality, especially during intensely competitive online play.
If you can deal with the fairly uninspired character models, this is a mechanically sound game well worth the scant asking price.
