Another gem of everlasting weirdness from the mind that brought us LSD: Dream Emulator, this point-and-click adventure is nebulous and confusing even by its genre's high standards. In the game, you control a guy called Rin who travels to the island of Tong-Nou to retrieve his soul, which he believes was stolen by the island (think outside the box, people). What ensues is a psychedelic experience with few equals, as you jump between surreal CGI scenes, clicking on giant green faces to make them react, traverse oceans made of rainbow colours, and hanging out with weird alien characters to solve the mystery of, like, everything. Don't miss the bouncing toast-guy who sings 'fun, fun, fun, fun, fun' at you, and the harrowing scene where the island turns into a tentacular green head which eats you and then sends you into a trippy worm-hole where you chat with demons. At least... I think that's what was happening.Honestly, this game is inexplicable. Just watch the video above and enjoy the ride. It's a third-eye-opening experience.
