11. Assassin's Creed Valhalla
The star in Ubisoft's scuffed crown right now, AC Valhalla has marked a turn in the fandom's perceptions towards its overall design.
Where AC Origins and Odyssey were both sold as "origin stories" for the assassins themselves, Valhalla is amping up the action side of things, to a degree that doesn't remotely look like Assassin's Creed anymore.
To keep things positive though, Ubi are certainly a veteran developer housing thousands of incredibly talented individuals/ What IS here looks pretty stellar, and you're free to tackle combat scenarios through snappy stealth and aerial kills, or blow your viking horn and burn everything to the ground instead.
Plenty of upgrades, settlement building and loot comes as a reward, and there'll be "Viking rap battles" to boot. What could go wrong?
