5. Battlefield 1's Revamped Conquest Mode Combines The Best Of Both Worlds

EA DICE

Battlefield's signature mode, the ticket-burning 'Conquest' will be receiving its biggest change in years in 2016. For the first time ever, rather than only reward players with points based on captured objectives or through killing other players, both will factor into any given team's score.

This puts all the emphasis on the Medic class, who after the beta, has become one of the most complained-about inclusions of the game - mainly because people weren't responding to downed teammates, choosing to storm forward and die regardless.

Now if you go down, your ticket isn't counted on the opponent's score until you've bled out and appeared on the respawn screen, meaning if a Medic can revive you, you'll 'rob' said enemy team of scoring.

Pretty neat.

Whether or not people 'play their class' - as is required in more dedicated class-based shooters - remains to be seen, but this is far more of an incentive than ever before to choose the otherwise-ignored healer of the group.
