12. Dead To Rights' Stripper

How the hell do you animate a stripper when their character model doesn't have an arse?

Dead to Rights settled on bending Hildy here's body so the tops of her thighs and the bottom of her... crotch(?) go inwards. It ain't pretty. It's a whole load of awkward walking animations, and controller-wise, one of the most boring quick-time events in all of gaming.

Now Dead To Rights was a damn fun game; one that took Max Payne's slow-motion dives and added some great meaty melee combat alongside enjoyable levels. But this? Getting the player to arbitrarily push buttons as awkward, wannabe-sexy animations hid a makeshift stealth level?

Let's just say... it hasn't aged well.
