The Game: EA and DICE's latest installment in the lucrative Battlefield franchise, a cops-n-robbers-style spin-off with the same focus on multiplayer mayhem. Why It's A Ripoff: Because it's clearly just a DLC that's sneaked into the clothing of a retail game, with EA having the nerve to actually charge $60/£40 for it. Anyone who's played any of the Betas knows that the game is a relatively uninteresting excursion that's clearly not had a whole lot of effort put into it. There's no way this game should be getting a physical release or costing more than $30/£15, as it's quite obviously a bland mixture of ideas from other games alongside the successful Battlefield formula. Will People Buy It Anyway?: Absolutely. Even though the fanbase was undeniably burned by the massive netcode issues that plagued Battlefield 4 for months after release, they're largely too curious about this one not to shell out for it, especially with Battlefield 5 not being due out until the end of 2016.
