PSVR hasn't had the greatest 2018 so far, what with high-profile AAA VR titles such as The Inpatient and Bravo Team falling flat on their faces. However, developer First Contact Entertainment is clearly banking on their new shooter Firewall: Zero Hour filling the squad-based shooter void that Bravo Team just couldn't.

In fairness, the gameplay is perhaps offputtingly reminiscent of Bravo Team from a visual perspective, but the focus on squad-based 4v4 multiplayer mayhem could be a gamble that pays off handsomely.

Multiplayer is always a bit of a tough sell in VR - largely because player-bases tend to be small and die off incredibly fast - but the game's commitment to online carnage over Bravo Team's limited multiplayer options and rather naff single-player campaign could make it a far more focused and successful effort.

Hands-on press previews have been positive for the most part, comparing the game favourably to the Rainbow Six franchise, so things are certainly looking up.
