2. Crackdown 3 Is Surprisingly Decent

It's certainly sensible to keep your expectations low-to-middling for the long-delayed Crackdown 3, but you know what? More recent glimpses of the wacky shooter actually seem to suggest it could end up benefiting from its distended development history.

A meaty new gameplay video posted just before Christmas emphasises significantly refined visuals, particularly in relation to movement animations, and while few are expecting Crackdown 3 to break the 80+ mark on Metacritic, it's entirely possible the game ends up scoring a respectable 70-something.

And with the troubled actioner getting a day-one release on Game Pass, it'd be rude not to at least give it a try, no?
