13. Crystal Darts For Golems, Watchdogs And Imps

A lot of people might not realise the difference between crystal darts and regular darts, apart from their ability to do magic damage. The description, however, gives you a hint as to their specific use:

Crystal darts short out golem construct type enemies such as stone Golems, Burial Watchdogs, and those annoying little imps you keep running into in catacombs. Shorting them out forces them into a frenzy where they attack each other, which helps with multiple construct enemies in one fight, such as multiple golems in the field or that one annoying duo Watchdog fight, as well as the hordes of imps underground.

Important to note, however, is that you can still get hurt if you stand too close to a frenzied construct, and they can still try to attack you. The crystal dart is just a way for you to get them to distract them or get them to fight each other, allowing you to get free hits in.

It also does NOT work on non-stone constructs, such as Crystalians, the Iron Virgins roaming Mt. Gelmir, or Marionette/Avionette soldiers.
