8. Rocket League Is Coming To Xbox One

Microsoft are playing to win and cooking with gas in the run-up to 2016 - they're doggedly determined to prove their worth in every respect. Not only have they got quite the slate lined up including everything from Gears of War 4 to Crackdown 3 and Quantum Break, but now they've managed to throw enough money at developers Psygnosis to allow Rocket League onto the Xbox One, too. Formerly a PS4 exclusive, Rocket League's phenomenal premise (nitrous-powered cars playing football) netted the second spot in our Games of the Year for 2015, and it'll be very interesting - considering how many platform-specific unlockable items already exist - if Microsoft start rolling out some of their own in-game. Gears of War cog on your antenna, anyone?
