This sumptuous puzzle adventure game from Friend and Foe, a new studio comprised largely of former Team ICO employees, revolves around a boy who can transform himself into a bird as he traverses a desolate land.

Vane was first announced almost three years ago and already seemed to be in pretty decent shape then, so it's baffling and infuriating that it's still yet to get a 100% confirmed release date.

Still, it's little surprise that Team ICO's former artists are perfectionists, so don't be shocked if Vane ends up slipping to 2018 or even beyond. Given their track record, though, it'll probably be worth the wait in the end, and is certainly one of the most beautiful indie platformers on the horizon.
