Angry Birds, the original bird-themed craze, is one of the biggest causes of the rise of mobile gaming. With one of the simplest premises ever (shoot birds kill pigs), Angry Birds hooked casual and heavy gamers alike. While one could possible beat all the levels with ease, the real frustration came with trying to three star every level. Seeing how one was only given a certain amount and type of bird, gaining three stars was a task usually reserved for the most determined of players. While possible if one knew how to utilise their birds perfectly, for the common player getting three stars in later stages was simply a task not worth the time - prompting sighs and muttered curses everywhere. This, however, only accounts for the original game. Adding on all of the updates, the ridiculous and numerous spinoff games, the Free-to-Play, Pay-to-Win model, terrible level layout, and the ever classic "bonus levels", Angry Birds went from the original guilty pleasure of the mobile gaming world to a convoluted mess of unnecessary madness.
