13 Video Games That Must Appear At E3 2017

13. Tomb Raider 3 (Shadow Of The Tomb Raider)

Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider reboot hit stores in March 2013, and the follow-up Rise of the Tomb Raider landed on Xbox One in November 2015 before a staggered 2016 release on PC and PS4.

It seems likely that the third entry into the rebooted Tomb Raider series will release around mid-2018, so teasing it 12 months ahead of release at E3 is in line with the franchise's usual hype schedule.

Despite a slow sales start due to the exclusivity, Rise ended up selling well following strong critical acclaim, so there's no reason for a third entry to not already be deep into development, ripe for at least a flashy teaser at E3.

How Likely Is It?: The numbers definitely makes sense (and a title has even leaked). The only thing that could stop it from appearing is whether or not Square Enix wants the PS4 release to breathe a little longer, as it only hit the platform in October of last year. Still, it's pretty likely we'll see something. 7/10
