Burnout Paradise is one of the best-loved racing games of all time, widely praised for introducing open-world online multiplayer mechanics to the illustrious racing franchise, and creating a template that's been ripped off by dozens of racers ever since.

The series has been long overdue a revival with a sequel to Paradise, one which would retain the original's core elements while expanding the scope, and serving up some glossy new visuals, of course.

Why It Will Never Happen: EA probably doesn't see the necessity to revive Burnout with Need for Speed essentially taking its online open-world spot, albeit with mixed results (at least critically).
