MetaCritic Score: 71-73 What It Deserved: 61 There was plenty of worry that this Battlefield spin-off would end up being a glorified DLC update...and that happened to be exactly on the money, but charged at a full retail price. Though more effort has been put into fashioning a longer campaign this time, it ironically is brutally boring for the most part, suffering from terrible AI and relying massively on stealth in a way that's neither fun nor particularly smart. Though the multiplayer combat is as decent as usual in the franchise and the Cops 'n' Robbers gameplay is a solid sideways niche for the series, it just doesn't do enough to justify actually being a full-price game. This was worth £20 at best upon release, because it's not as fun as Battlefield 4 and not much more than a mildly interesting diversion for an hour or so every now and then. Not a terrible game as such, but it shouldn't really be a game in its own right at all...
