15 Best Nintendo Switch Games
15. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle
This game is so incredibly absurd, and ridiculous! It shouldn’t work, but it most certainly does. Using XCOM style turn-based tactics, this game is both fun and much more difficult than you’d expect.
This game is super self-aware, knowing just how bizarre this crossover is but it rolls with the mind-boggling premise and will give you hours and hours of dumb fun.
It might be a little strange from the get go watching your favourite characters from the Mario franchise shoot creatures with actual guns, but you’ll quickly get used to it and enjoy an old formula for games we didn’t expect to run it, while adding new features and abilities as your team works together to interact with the map better and drive you towards victory.
While there’s a steep learning curve and some early frustration to be had with this game as from the start your enemies seem entirely mobile, the crazy chains of movement and attacks you can do from the mid-game onwards more than makes up for it.
