11. Star Wars Battlefront: Rogue One X-Wing Mission

Now, this isn't strictly a game, but rather an "experience" that comes free with Star Wars Battlefront, but it's such a fantastic exemplar of VR's potential that it absolutely merits a mention.

The 10-minute tech demo hurls the player into an intense space battle and benefits hugely from its stunning graphics and sound work, which retain incredible verisimilitude to the Star Wars universe.

It's quick and easy, yes, but its popularity could potentially lead to a proper VR Rogue Squadron game in the future, and if not, it damn well should.

It's a little annoying having to dig out your Battlefront disc (and maybe even reinstall the game) just to play this short burst of action, but it's damn sure worth it.
