10. Linkle (The Legend Of Zelda)

Let's sidestep the whole "A female character created in the male original's shadow" landmine for now, as Linkle actually played pretty damn well in Hyrule Warriors.

Still though, freakin' Linkle?! You have to wonder how long it took Nintendo to come up with such an 'original spin' on one of the most iconic characters in gaming history.
