Oh how I do not envy Hello Games right now.
As of writing, there's just a mere few weeks left until the world gets its hands on No Man's Sky, and one of two things is undoubtedly going to happen when it drops.
The first potential outcome, and one that I genuinely hope comes to fruition, will see the immense amount of pre-release hype turn out to be entirely warranted and No Man's Sky will be hailed as one of the most ambitious pieces of interactive entertainment ever produced; awe-inspiring and leaving players to wonder how something so big was squeezed onto a plastic disc.
The second, and sadly more likely result will be that - through absolutely no fault of their own - Hello Games will be bombarded with messages penned by angry or disappointed fans that describes in detail how the space exploration sim has fallen drastically short of their own personal expectations.
