The Announcement: Blizzard haven't released a proper, non-World of Warcraft entry into the Warcraft series since 2003's expansion pack, Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, and so fans would surely be overjoyed if the long-awaited fourth core Warcraft game (an actual RTS, no less) were announced once and for all. How Likely Is It?: 3/10. Blizzard are kept plenty busy with the insanely lucrative WoW franchise right now, so it seems unlikely that they'd allocate resources away from their most important and successful enterprise. That said, the company's lead game designer Ion Hazzikostas has previously remarked that it'd be great to tie WoW to the core Warcraft franchise, even if he remained vague about how and when this could or would happen. Given the riskiness of releasing an RTS game at a time in which the genre isn't exactly popular, it makes more sense for Blizzard to play it safe, and it's hard to blame them for that.
