The Announcement: After five years of rumours, Rockstar finally puts them to bed by confirming that a third game in the Red Dead series is in development, which would pretty much cause the Internet to break, given how so many fans have already given up hope on it happening. How Likely Is It?: 2/10. With it generally assumed that production on Grand Theft Auto VI has probably already begun for a 2017/2018 release, that doesn't exactly leave a ton of wiggle room for another Red Dead game given the mind-boggling amount of resources the team needs to devote to GTA. That said, Red Dead Redemption was released just two years after GTA IV (admittedly by the San Diego subsidiary of Rockstar), so it's certainly not impossible that Rockstar will unveil it next month for release next year, but just not very likely at all. All fans would need to see is a brief glimpse of a grown-up Jack Marston with a gun in hand, and the mammoth company would have yet another license to print money.
