15 Most Anticipated Video Games Of 2018
8. Detroit: Become Human
One of the PS4's big hitters lined up for this year, Quantic Dream's Detroit: Become Human has a lot to prove. After stumbling with Beyond: Two Souls and watching other narrative-driven studios like Supermassive and Telltale overtake them in relevancy, it seems as though David Cage's iconic studio is hungrier than ever.
Although the central narrative still isn't clear, the different vignettes the developers have shown off - a hostage situation atop a skyscraper and an intimate case of abuse at the hands of a violent father to name a few - have more than highlighted the diversity of choices, situations and outcomes that players will be put in control of.
The overarching story will no doubt veer off into indulgence as David Cage games always do, but even from the footage released so far, it's clear the characters and themes of his latest release are tighter than ever.
