7. Watch Dogs
Many games achieve classic status, but there's a special page reserved in history for Ubisoft's royal bungling of Watch Dogs' initial launch.
Hyped up and delayed multiple times, this was supposed to be the reason why thousands of us upgraded to next gen hardware in the first place.
Alas, the end result was a generic third-person shooter with less than negative charm. Main-man Aiden Pearce thought the best way to introduce himself to women was to grab them by the throat, and that was before you realised all gameplay boiled down to "Hold X to hack."
Ubisoft promptly backed away for two years solid, only now revitalising their efforts for a sequel in the couple months before the launch of Watch Dogs 2, almost as if they're whispering, "Hey guys... erm... we've got more if you'll just give us a second chance! ... Guys?"
