15 Most Hilariously Useless Enemies In Gaming History

6. Jawas - Star Wars: Return Of The Jedi

While useless Goombas may well be, they are superior in threat to the Jawas that players encounter in the early Tatooine levels of the Return Of The Jedi's Nintendo side-scroller. With many of the same basic movement mechanics to Mario's underwhelming foes, these Jawas are significantly less powerful against a Jedi than the Goombas are against a fat plumber.
While Goombas stand a strong chance of beating a standard Mario with just one assault, Return Of The Jedi gave the Jawas a full health bar, meaning they take far longer to be defeated. Any successful Jawa attack can chip away about a tenth of your own too, assuming of course the player is slow enough to be hit by something as pedestrian as their attacks are. It does make sense that an almighty Jedi would have a little more fortitude than Mario would, but the staggeringly weak Jawa attack presents next to no danger. They are as useless as C3PO's codpiece.
