One of the undeniable traits of most mobile games is that they are easy enough to be accessible to players within the limits of their 'console'. Infinity Blade certainly managed to meet that challenge, and offered mobile players a great title to pick up and dive right into along the way. The simple swipe and tap mechanics made choreographing intense combat a breeze even on small devices, and the power of these consoles was such that the game even played them out with impressive graphical aplomb. The trouble, is that the game never really steps much past the difficulty of the tutorial for any players with a well-equipped character. The Titans that players face for the vast majority of the game offer nothing in the way of an inventive challenge, with the only improvement on the tutorials being that they take slightly longer to win. Instead, it's the startling monotony of the enemies that makes them laughably useless overall.
