Modern Warfare 2 was released at a time when the Call Of Duty series was still enjoying its reign as the king of all video games; its reach in pop culture was all-encompassing. As if being a sequel to one of the most popular games of all time wasn't already enough to generate hype, Modern Warfare 2's Prestige Edition came with a pair of genuine night vision goggles. You know, for those situations where you fancied playing some COD in total darkness. Savvy collectors obviously foresaw the future popularity a good quality version of the limited edition would generate, though: copies are readily available on eBay. Sealed versions are considerably rarer, presumably because original owners just couldn't resist the temptation of sticking that gear on their face for a bit of sleuthing.
