The Buzz: The fourth entry into the Mass Effect series will take the franchise in a new direction, ditching Commander Shepard and all other characters in favour of a fresh start with an entirely new cast, albeit probably set in the same universe. Beyond that, little else is known. Why It Could Suck: Perhaps BioWare won't be able to come up with characters as interesting and likeable as those in the original trilogy, or maybe they'll screw fans over once again with a lackluster plot just as they did at the end of Mass Effect 3. Why You'll Play It Anyway: Because by the time it comes out, you will have been at least 4 years without a new Mass Effect game, and nothing will keep you away.
