17 Video Games Missing From E3 2016

If it was leaked, so why wasn't it there?

E3 2016 may not have been one of the stronger or more jaw-dropping years for the conference in recent memory, but it still gave gamers plenty to be excited about: the Resident Evil franchise is getting a radical reboot, the new Zelda looks insanely awesome, there's VR everywhere, and Microsoft prove with the Xbox One S and Project Scorpio that they're readily prepping for the future.

Still, gamers are notoriously hard to please, and there's always the absence of a bunch of games that we end up complaining about, from long-awaited, much-discussed titles to more niche follow-ups that absolutely deserve their day on the E3 stage.

Some of these games will never come to be, while others will be tearing the stage down at next year's E3, but none of them have been officially unveiled yet, and are certainly long overdue.

Here are 17 games that were missing from E3 2016...

17. Halo 6

Though Halo 5: Guardians only released last October, remember that Guardians' first teaser trailer was dropped at E3 2013, just 7 months after Halo 4 landed in fans' laps.

As such, there was a reasonable expectation that Halo 6 would be at least teased in the vaguest of ways, but instead all attention seemed to be paid to the upcoming Halo Wars 2.

With all the time Microsoft devoted to their new Play Anywhere initiative, this would've been the perfect time to show off a brief tease and confirm, as rumoured, that Halo 6 will return the franchise to the PC, as so many fans have been begging for.

When Will We See It?: E3 next year is your best bet, as it'll still give 343 18 months to market the hell out of the thing.
