9. Landing Some Insane Spin-Flip-Grab Trick Combo - STEEP

It may not scratch the SSX itch all the time, but when Ubisoft's physics-based extreme sports game hits the mark, it does so with Legolas-like efficiency.

Case in point: The trick system. Initially easy to play around with but hard to master, at some point you'll end up pushing all the buttons at once to enact a multi-grab, 720 spin flip... thing, only to land it at the last second.

It's moments like this that make the game worth playing, and although its progression and occasionally ridiculous tone is all over the place, there's still a lot to love about STEEP.
