Streets of Rage 2 is a pretty simple game. You take control of a cop and spend your time battering all of the evildoers that are plaguing the city. Everybody you fight is human and nothing gets too weird, assuming you can accept that people are okay with the rampant violence in their city. That is until you reach the Alien House and suddenly have to start dealing with exploding pods and other odd occurrences, culminating in the boss fight against Vehelits. Unlike practically every other enemy in the game, Vehelits is some kind of alien creature whose head swings back and forth on its pendulum of a neck, trying to hit the player character whenever it rebounds back towards you. A few attacks later and the monster is dead, leaving the player to exit Alien House with no explanation of just what Vehelits is or why you had to fight it.
