After beating the single player campaign of the original Super Smash Bros., youll notice the name Charles Martinee. This is actually a typo. It is supposed to be Charles Martinet, and he has been voice of Mario since Mario Game Gallery.

This isnt the only instance of his name being misspelled. It was also wrong in the first two Mario Party games, Mario Golf, and the Japanese version of Mario Kart 64. Supposedly, this happened because of the way in which his name is pronounced.
