12. Visceral Studios Is Shut Down, Their Star Wars Game Gets "Overhauled"

One of the year's most heartbreaking news stories was the shock shuttering of EA-owned studio Visceral Games, most famous for their work on the Dead Space series.

This was especially surprising as Visceral were deep in development on a reportedly Uncharted-esque third-person Star Wars game, work on which has been shifted to another studio in order for it to be "retooled" with a greater focus on multiplayer elements.

Considering how intriguing the project was, and the great work Visceral has delivered over the years, this was yet another reason to hate EA in a year absolutely jam-packed with them.
