12. The Open World Is Empty & Boring - Anthem
Why It Might Suck: Though BioWare's new open-world multiplayer action RPG looks set to be one of the year's big hits, it's also too easy to believe that Anthem could end up yet another dull multiplayer open-world game without enough of interest for players to do.
Like so many similar titles, it wouldn't be remotely surprising if Anthem sold itself on the fun of playing in a squad with your pals, while the majority of the main missions are thoroughly generic and the side content amounts to nothing but dispassionate collectathons in a dull, empty world.
Why It Might Not: BioWare has made their share of incredible games, for one, and we've still seen relatively little of Anthem, so it might be a little too soon to write it off as yet another soulless open-world game.
