11. THAT Treasure Chest Fanfare - The Legend Of Zelda

Sometimes in life, it's the little things - and even though games like The Division, Diablo and Destiny will throw new items at you with reckless abandon, Zelda's history has been packed with meaningful treasure chest placement that withholds weapons or items you actually need.

As such, like with Mario's godlike tune, the hand of late 80s Nintendo graced Hyrule too. A fanfare was designed that's been included in every Zelda since - over time evolving from those halcyon days to more orchestral arrangements as time went on, but never deviating from the core ascending melody.
