19 More Wrestlers Revealed For WWE 2K17
Larry, Booker and Y2J return for more!
With WWE 2K17 hitting stores in just over two months, the names of the superstars on the virtual roster are slowly being revealed.
Today IGN.com learned of 19 more grapplers who will soon be making their way to the newest version of the video game:
-Aiden English-Booker T-Brian Pillman-Brie Bella-Chris Jericho-Diego-Erick Rowan-Fernando-Heath Slater-Jey Uso-Jimmy Uso-Jim Neidhart-Konnor-Larry Zybszko-Nikki Bella-R-Truth-Simon Gotch-Ultimate Warrior-Viktor
Nothing too surprising here, as all of those names were in WWE 2K16. It would have been nice to see a couple of brand new entries announced in this most recent reveal. Still, it's nice to see guys like Zybszko and Warrior involved again to represent different eras.
It's interesting to see Brie Bella returning to the series, despite retiring after WrestleMania this year. Though the company probably had worked on her character model before they knew for sure she'd be leaving.
For those hoping to play the dream match of The Ascension vs. The Shooting Stars you're in luck, as all four have made the cut. With them being separated by the brand split, many feared they'd never see it happen.
Also of note is that with Booker T retiring the Spinnaroonie, you'll at least still get to see it in virtual form for years to come.
WWE 2K 17 will release on October 11 for PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
