20. Kirby Tilt ‘N’ Tumble

Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble is one of the most creative games on the system. The cartridge is full of accelerometers which allows the game to be controlled by tilting the Game Boy.

And you thought the Wii was when Nintendo started to force motion controls into their games.

Luckily the gimmick works well here and the game came out before we were all sick of motion controls so it can't exactly be criticised for that.

It's a Game Boy Colour exclusive which was probably the best call. It's hard enough to see the screen on the original Game Boy when you're not wobbling it around.

It plays similarly to something like Super Monkey Ball. Kirby must roll around on platforms trying not to fall off the edge. You'll also be under a timer whilst playing Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble to make sure you don't dilly-dally too much. This leads to the game being surprisingly difficult.

Yeah a difficult Kirby game, I never thought I'd see the day.
