Enter Jak II, their 'gritty' and 'dark' sequel that nobody saw coming. Thankfully, Naughty Dog are the absolute masters at this stuff, and Renegade turned out brilliantly, combining third-person shooting segments with a hoverboard you could bust out whenever you liked, more exemplary platforming and animation that further proved why Naughty Dog truly are one of the best developers around.
