Remember when Assassin's Creed was good? It might be hard, but there was a time where it was not only good, not only great, but fantastic.

Following a pretty exemplary original that got lambasted for being too repetitive, AC II took everything Ubisoft were shooting for and knocked it out the park.

Double hidden bladed kills, larger maps, RPG stat-progression, more weapons, tons of clothing options, incredibly enjoyable combat, brutal finishers - Assassin's Creed II was pure gaming nectar, and is the sole reason the franchise was able to set in motion another six years of sequels.
