Strip away all of his pretensions and it is hard to argue that David Cage is doing more than most modern developers to make gaming a more mature experience that can be embraced by a larger audience as an art form. That doesn't mean that he doesn't make mistakes though and in the sex scene between Carla and Lucas in Fahrenheit he made a doozy. The idea of the scene itself wouldn't be so bad - it could even be considered mature - except for the fact that Lucas had essentially died earlier in the game and this version of him was pretty much a warmed up corpse. The squick factor was off the charts.
