In Grand Theft Auto III, the final mission given via payphone to players by Diablos leader El Burro via is somewhat of a strange one. Departing from some of the more serious matters at hand by this point in the game, the mission had Claude racing through the streets chasing down stolen porn.
Guiding a van through streets and alleys as copies of 'Donkey Does Dallas' are tossed into the roads, protagonist Claude is actually even awarded an impressive $20,000 for completing the duties.
Nice work if you can get it, eh?
With GTA games putting such an emphasis on combinations of genuine satire and off-the-wall strangeness, this mission definitely hit that latter end of the spectrum. Following completion of the mission, the Portland Safehouse will even be seen filled with stacks of pornographic magazines from that point on. Call it a bonus on top of the fee.
