11. 007 Legends

James Bond's video game career hasn't always gone to plan. From the heady heights of Goldeneye 007 and Everything or Nothing, to the depths of 2000's 007 Racing, the legendary British spy has had his share of ups and downs. When 007 Legends was unveiled, its trailers promised an action-packed romp through some of his greatest hits, showing Bond shooting, driving and skiing through levels that take place in multiple time periods and encompassing movies such as Goldfinger and Skyfall.

For fans, it looked like an incredibly exciting opportunity to revisit some of Bond's best movies from a brand new perspective. Bringing together a total of 6 of the most popular movies in his extensive catalogue- what could possibly go wrong? Then, the game launched in October 2012, and it quickly became apparent that this was not one of 007's finest hours.

The finished game was about as far from the N64's classic Goldeneye 007 as it could possibly get. A plethora of poor reviews lambasted the game's mediocre shooting mechanics and poor stealth and boss fight segments. Overall, it felt like a rushed mess, quickly stuck together in the hopes of appealing to fans despite a lack of substance. Mission failed.
