The game's Kickstarter minimum goal of $900,000 was reached after only two days, with the final total standing at over $4 million. The 2D platformer was created with heavy input from the public, which was a major factor in helping it gain extra funds. Since the game's initial Kickstarter finished, there have been smaller crowdfunding campaigns to give it full English voice-overs and some extra DLC.
