20 Dumb Choices That Will DESTROY Your Game Save

Don't ruin your game with these choices!

In the age of tutorials, hints, and all manner of guides in video games, it's easy to let a game hold your hand through the entire experience and never question a thing.

However, even the most restrictive or "explainy" games still have moments when you have to make a choice. And if you haven't been paying attention, it can be a really dumb choice that will completely ruin your experience!

Not every title is considerate enough to give you room to make mistakes and learn from them. Some of them will punish you for making incorrect choices,  especially if they are so dumb that no rational being would ever even consider picking them.

You might make the choice by accident, or because you thought it would be funny, but even then, the punishment is coming anyway.

The game might give you a permanent debuff, take away something valuable you will never get back, or even delete your save file!

If you don't want to have a bad time, make sure to be extra mindful when making the following choices. Stupidity can cost you dearly.

20. Eat Tsuchinoko - Metal Gear Solid Delta

Metal Gear Solid Delta, just like the original, rewards the player for collecting all 48 plants and creatures in the game with the EZ gun that comes with infinite ammo.

However, there is also an incredibly rare creature that grants an additional reward for its capture—Tsuchinoko.

Tsuchinoko is a Japanese yokai resembling a rotund snake. The creature is small and incredibly rare, making it near impossible to find, let alone capture. For this reason, when Snake catches one in his mousetrap, his crew will inform him to keep it in his inventory and deliver it to the base.

Doing exactly that and carrying Tsuchinoko in your inventory until the end of the game will reward you with the Infinity Face Paint.

However, if curiosity gets the better of you, instead of safekeeping this legendary creature, you may choose to eat it instead.

This unbridled case of gluttony will immediately cause your team to gasp with shock, as they are unable to comprehend you making a light snack out of a supernatural being.

More importantly, though, since there is only one Tsuchinoko per campaign, you permanently lose your chance to unlock the unique face paint on your save file.

Think with your brain, not your stomach!
