While navigating through the Grotesque Cave in Tales of Graces, our heroes may stumble upon a gargantuan stone monster called Rockgagong. After Rockgagong obliterates your team (and trust me, he will,) players should be relieved to learn this gigantic golem is an optional boss. But if anyone is intending to collect that Gagoned Trophy, they have to find a way to reduce this sentient boulder to rubble. 

This is easier said than done, since Rockgagong's assaults are high-damage, wide-ranging, combo-breaking, and give little time for your party to dodge or counter. He is also highly resistant to most attacks, turning this battle into an agonising slog.

Ironically, the easiest way to defeat Rockgagong is not with a full party, but with a single member, either Cheria or Hubert. While fighting solo, these specific warriors hit Rockgagong with an immense damage multiplier. By utilising specific equipment, status boosts, and spell books, their attacks can be amplified further, allowing them to defeat this indestructible fiend within seconds. 

Though boss encounters often require an absurd level of skill, set-up, and luck, this trick demonstrates how the easiest strategy can be the most effective one.
