2. Most Boss Trophies - Cuphead

Despite what the kid-friendly rubber-hose animation would have you believe, Cuphead is as brutal as platformers get. Though the levels are tough, it's the multi-phase boss battles that'll leave anybody tearing their hair out. Infamous foes like Grim Matchstick, King Dice, The Devil, and Chef Saltbaker are designed to stonewall the best of the best. Not only that, most Trophies are tied directly with defeating these tyrannical adversaries.

Fortunately, there's a means that makes every boss encounter a piece of cake. In each battle, Cuphead and Mugman can swap between two types of projectiles. Each weapon has a fixed rate of fire, damage output, and special properties, requiring players to strategically choose the right tool for each encounter. Most importantly, swapping results in a weapon cooldown to prevent Cuphead and Mugman from being overpowered.

But through rapid swapping in mid-combat, players can fool the game into registering multiple hits from a single attack. If players are quick enough, they'll force the boss to transition to the next phase before they go on the offensive.
