With all the fuss made about Driveclub and Forza Horizon 2, it's important not to forget the third (and last to be released) dog in the fight, and that's the multi-platformer of the bunch, The Crew. In the spirit of so many racing games these days, The Crew is open-world, depicting a scaled-down version of the US, with players being able to drive from one coast of the US to the other in around 90 minutes. The missions can be tackled solo or online with buddies, and much like Driveclub, there is an emphasis on building racing teams, or crews, to heighten the social aspect of play. It certainly sounds ambitious, and with the lack of a new Need for Speed title this year, The Club just might be able to carve out a niche for itself among gamers, though that will naturally depend on how well Forza and Driveclub are received. Still, considering the game apparently has 2-hour missions and no loading screens, it'll certainly be an impressive package if it can live up to these claims. Predicted MetaCritic Score: 82
